Digital Radiography

The Infinity Equine ambulatory vehicle is equipped with cutting edge, high power radiography equipment capable of producing instant digitized images of everything from backs to feet!

In equine veterinary medicine, radiographs are most often used during lameness evaluations, although structures such as the sinuses and teeth are also easily visualized!  Radiography is the process of evaluating the body with x-rays.  The radiographic images allow the veterinarian to visualize boney structures in the target area, providing information that facilitates reaching a diagnosis.

Digitized radiographs provide instant images on the computer and have improved image quality over conventional radiographs. These digitized images can also be manipulated to highlight various structures in question and can be emailed to surgeons or other specialists if a referral is necessary.
